As part of our together program with Saint-Gobain Building Distribution our chosen charity partner
over the last 2 years we are delighted to share that the final amount raised for Barnardo’s was £607, 086.00 and a cheque was presented to Barnardo's on behalf of Saint-Gobain Building Distribution by Peter Hindle, MBE.
Trina Gable, Relationship Manager at Barnardo’s said:
“From Charity Balls, huge conferences and dinners, to exceedingly challenging walks and recording songs at Abbey Studios; the Group has certainly been diverse in its fundraising activities. We cannot forget the amazing array of activity from branches, with a huge amount of people showing their support for Barnardo’s. The sheer enthusiasm and passion from everyone is humbling and has been a source of inspiration and motivation for me and the team here. In terms of the perfect Corporate Partner, you have certainly set the benchmark for any of our future partnerships.
Overall, you have raised £607, 086.00p for some of the most vulnerable children and young people in the UK and Ireland and your legacy is that we can continue to expand and reach out to even more children in need of our support. We simply cannot thank you enough.”
The partnership was a great success of which we have many fond memories, but now we turn our attention to our new 2014/2015 partners, Macmillan Cancer Support and the Irish Cancer Society. There has already been a great level of interest for supporting our new cause and we know many people at CTD are busy planning activities for this year. Keep on eye on our blog and on the twitter
page to see how you can get involved at CTD!
