Welcome to CTD Cardiff, on your visit to our store you will receive a very warm welcome from the team who have a wealth of experience.

Did You Know?
- There has been a settlement in Cardiff for over 2000 years - A Roman fort was built near the river Taff giving Cardiff its name. (Caerdydd in Welsh).
- In 1801 the population was only around 1800 but dramatically grew when the Marquis of Bute built a dock which later became the main export of coal in Wales.
- Between 1840-1870 the population grew by 80%, one-quarter of these were English born and 10% Irish.
- Cardiff was proclaimed the capital city of Wales in 1955.
