Match with the Same Tiles
Using the same tiles on walls and floors has become more and more popular in modern homes as it creates the illusion of more space. However this doesn’t mean they have to be an exact match. Usually, you would need to use a different floor tile in wet areas such as bathrooms or even kitchens, to add some extra safety underfoot.

How to Pair your Tiles with Different Colours
Now, once you’ve laid your tiles it’s important to consider the other colours you will be bringing in to complement them. Normally interior designers will work with a palette of similar shades, which is based on a chromatic scale. To help you distinguish the colours you want to layer with, we would recommend creating a moodboard beforehand as this will help with working out what colours work best with your tiles.
